Through the UVA department of mechanical and aerospace engineering (MAE), internal UVa clients (students, faculty, and staff) and external clients have access to the resources of the MAE Design Lab. This includes CAD modeling and 3D printing (rapid prototyping). Internal University of Virginia clients can use their project funds to pay for the services of the MAE Design Lab while external clients may pay via our online ecommerce capabilities.
